Serra Club in Diocese of Beaumont sponsors annual Carrabba's luncheon

The Serra Club had it's annual Carrabba's luncheon last Tuesday on the 3rd.

For those that don't know, the Serra Club is a group that works to promote vocations. In our diocese, they help out a lot at "Operation Andrew," a vocations conference where talks are given by priests and the bishop to young men in the diocese, and they also raise money for our seminarians (Ha, both of them!).

Anywho, this luncheon is a fundraiser for the Club so they can continue to promote vocations in the diocese. As you can see in the pictures, one of the unique things about this luncheon is that various priests from the Diocese of Beaumont serve as waiters.

More about it can be found out at the actual article on the East Texas Catholic website.

Here's a few more pictures from the event.
